How small can PurrPDF make my PDF?
Scanned and photo-heavy PDFs usually shrink by 70–90%. Text-only PDFs are already small, so they shrink less. Use Target size to aim for an exact limit.
Why can’t I select text after “Strong” compression?
“Strong” and “Target size” turn each page into an image, which gives the biggest savings. If you need selectable text, use Light.
My PDF still doesn’t fit the limit. What now?
Tick Black & white — it often halves the size of scans. You can also split the PDF and upload the parts separately.
