Questions
Can someone remove the watermark?
It’s part of the page, so it shows in every PDF viewer and on paper. Like any watermark, it can be removed with PDF editing software. To make that harder, also use Protect PDF with “block editing and copying”.
Can I watermark only some pages?
The watermark goes on every page. To mark only some, separate them with Split & organize, watermark that part, then merge the files again.
Does a watermark make the PDF bigger?
Barely. Latin text is added as real text, a few bytes per page. Other scripts, like Japanese or Arabic, are added as one small image that every page reuses.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. PurrPDF runs entirely inside your browser. Your file is opened, changed and saved on your own device. There is no server that receives it — you can even turn off your Wi-Fi and it still works.
